WordPress forms and emails not sending

Send WordPress email through your mailbox with SMTP.

By default WordPress sends email directly from the server, and many inboxes treat that as suspicious. Sending through a real mailbox with SMTP fixes most delivery problems.

  1. Create a mailbox such as noreply@yourdomain.com.
  2. Install an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP or FluentSMTP.
  3. Choose Other SMTP and enter:
    • the outgoing server from cPanel Connect Devices,
    • port 465 with SSL,
    • authentication on, with the mailbox address and password.
  4. Set the "From" address to the same mailbox, and send a test email.

Also make sure SPF and DKIM are set up for your domain. See SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
