Moving a WordPress site to IDX
Let us do it for free, or move it yourself with a plugin.
The easy way: we do it
Open a ticket to the WordPress department with your current host's details. Our team moves the site, with no setup or migration fees. See Moving your website to IDX.
Doing it yourself with a plugin
- On the old site, install a migration plugin (for example All-in-One WP Migration or Duplicator) and export the site.
- On IDX, install a fresh WordPress on your domain or a temporary subdomain.
- Install the same plugin there and import the export.
- Check the site, then point your domain to IDX (see Changing nameservers).
Lower your domain's DNS TTL a day before switching, so the change takes effect quickly. See Why DNS changes take time.
