Logging in to the WordPress dashboard
Where wp-admin is, and what to do if you can't get in.
Open https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin and sign in with the admin username (or email) and password you set when installing.
You can also open it from cPanel: WordPress Manager → your site → Log in.
Can't log in?
- Forgot the password: click Lost your password? on the login page, or see Resetting the WordPress admin password.
- The login page reloads without an error: clear your browser cookies, or try a private window.
- "Too many attempts": a security plugin has blocked you for a while. Wait, or rename the plugin's folder in File Manager to disable it.
