Reinstalling the operating system
A clean system in minutes; erases everything on the server.
A reinstall permanently erases all data on the server. Take a backup first.
- Open Recovery and choose Reinstall.
- Pick the operating system, and optionally add your SSH key.
- Type the server name to confirm, then click Erase and reinstall.
- When it finishes, the new password is shown once in the panel and is also emailed to you.
For security, the panel may ask you to come back from the client area before sensitive actions like this one.
