Verifying your domain for Shopify, Google and others

Add the TXT record a service gives you to prove you own the domain.

Many services (Shopify, Google Search Console, Meta for business, Microsoft 365) ask you to prove you own a domain by adding a TXT record.

  1. Copy the record exactly as the service shows it: its name (often @) and its value.
  2. Add it as a TXT record in your DNS. See Adding and editing DNS records.
  3. Wait a few minutes, then click Verify in the service.

You can have several TXT records on the same name; add a new one rather than replacing an existing SPF record.

Check that the record is live with our DNS checker (choose TXT).
