Filtering spam

Turn on spam filtering and fine-tune it.

  1. In cPanel, open Spam Filters.
  2. Turn on Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam.
  3. Optionally, turn on Move New Spam to a Separate Folder so spam goes to the Spam folder instead of your inbox.
  4. Adjust the spam threshold if needed: lower catches more spam, but also more good email.
  5. Add trusted senders to the allow list (whitelist) and persistent spammers to the block list.

Check your Spam folder now and then, at least at first, in case a real email is caught.
