Updating a domain's owner details

Keep the registrant contact accurate; it proves the domain is yours.

The registrant contact is the legal owner of the domain. Registries may suspend domains with false or outdated details, and transfers use the owner's email address.

  1. Sign in to the client area and open the domain under My domains.
  2. Open Contact information.
  3. Update the details and save.

Some extensions ask the owner to confirm a change of details by email. Check that inbox after saving.
