Transferring a domain to another provider
Unlock the domain and get its transfer code from your account.
Your domain belongs to you, and you can move it whenever you like.
- Sign in to the client area and open the domain under My domains.
- Turn off the registrar lock.
- Get the EPP / transfer code from the domain page. If it isn't shown, open a ticket to the domains department and we'll send it.
- Start the transfer at the new provider with that code.
Keep the domain's renewal paid until the transfer completes, and make sure its owner email address is one you can access.
