Uploading your website files

Use File Manager in the browser, or FTP for many files.

Your main website lives in the public_html folder. Whatever is in it is what visitors see at your domain.

With File Manager

In cPanel, open File Manager.
Open public_html.
Click Upload and choose your files. To upload a whole site, upload it as a single .zip file.
Back in File Manager, right-click the .zip and choose Extract.
Make sure your home page file (index.html or index.php) is directly inside public_html, not inside an extra folder.

Additional domains on the same plan have their own folders. cPanel shows each domain's folder under Domains.
