Running Node.js, Python or Ruby apps
Use the app setup tools on plans that include them.
Plans that include application support show Setup Node.js App, Setup Python App or Setup Ruby App in cPanel.
- Open the tool for your language and click Create Application.
- Choose the version, the application folder, the address it runs at and the startup file.
- Click Create, then install your dependencies (the page shows the command to enter the app's environment).
- Upload your code to the folder and restart the app.
Need long-running processes, background workers or full control over the environment? A VPS is a better fit.
