Speeding up your site with LiteSpeed

WordPress and WooCommerce

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New and install LiteSpeed Cache.
  2. Activate it. Page caching works straight away with safe defaults.
  3. Optionally, enable image optimisation and CSS/JS minification in its settings, testing your site after each change.

Other quick wins

  • Compress images before uploading, and use WebP where you can.
  • Remove plugins and themes you don't use.
