Deploying with Git in cPanel

Clone a repository and deploy updates from it.

  1. In cPanel, open Git Version Control and click Create.
  2. Turn on Clone a Repository and paste the repository's clone URL (for a private repository, add your server's SSH key as a deploy key first, from SSH Access).
  3. Choose the folder to clone into, and click Create.
  4. To deploy, add a .cpanel.yml file in the repository describing which files to copy to public_html, then use Manage → Pull or Deploy.
