Scheduling tasks with cron jobs
Run a script automatically every few minutes, daily or weekly.
- In cPanel, open Cron Jobs.
- Choose a common setting (such as Once Per Hour) or set the minute, hour, day, month and weekday yourself.
- Enter the command, for example:
/usr/local/bin/php /home/USERNAME/public_html/cron.php- Click Add New Cron Job.

Don't schedule heavy tasks every minute. It slows your site and can hit your plan's resource limits.
