Running an Arabic or bilingual store
Arabic storefront, local currency and a bilingual shop.
- Set the site language to Arabic: Settings → General → Site Language. WooCommerce's own texts are translated automatically.
- Choose a theme that supports RTL and WooCommerce.
- Set your currency in WooCommerce → Settings → General → Currency (for example Egyptian pound, Saudi riyal or Kuwaiti dinar), with its position and decimals.
- For Arabic and English together, use a multilingual plugin that supports WooCommerce, such as Polylang for WooCommerce or WPML.
Write product names and descriptions in the language your customers search in. That's what search engines index.
