How a project works: quote, payments, delivery
Scope, payment schedule, revisions, acceptance and ownership.
On this page
A summary of how projects run. The full terms are in the Website Design & Development Agreement.
1. Scope and quotation
The project's scope (what's included) is defined in the quotation or project documents you approve. Anything not in the approved scope is extra work and may be quoted separately.
2. Payments
Payments follow the schedule in your quotation, for example an advance payment, milestone payments and a final payment before delivery. Project payments are non-refundable.
3. Your part
Projects move as fast as content and approvals arrive. Send your texts, images, logos, access details and feedback on time; delays on either side move the timeline. A project inactive for more than 30 days for lack of response may be paused.
4. Changes
Revisions are included up to the limits agreed in your quotation. New features or changes after work has started are handled as change requests, with their own estimate.
5. Delivery and acceptance
When we deliver, you have 7 calendar days to review and report any issues. After that, the delivery is considered accepted.
6. Ownership
The final deliverables made for you become yours once all invoices are paid in full. Third-party components (themes, plugins, licences) stay under their own licences.
