Keeping your store fast and stable

Caching that's safe for carts, images and the hosting a store needs.

  • Use LiteSpeed Cache. It recognises WooCommerce and automatically avoids caching the cart, checkout and account pages. See Making WordPress fast.
  • Optimise product images and use WebP.
  • Limit plugins to the ones you really use; stores tend to collect many.
  • Clean up old transients and orders you no longer need, with care and a backup first.
  • Use a real cron job so store tasks run on time. See Replacing WP-Cron.

When the store outgrows shared hosting

Large catalogues, many orders or heavy traffic during sales may need more resources. Consider a bigger web hosting plan, or a VPS. See Upgrading a plan.
