Adding products
Simple and variable products, images, prices and stock.
- Go to Products → Add New.
- Enter the name and a clear description.
- In Product data, choose the type:
- Simple product: one item with one price.
- Variable product: one item in several options (sizes, colours), each with its own price and stock.
- Set the regular price, and a sale price if it's on offer.
- Under Inventory, set the SKU and turn on Manage stock to track quantities.
- Under Shipping, enter the weight and size if your shipping rates use them.
- Add a product image and a gallery, choose categories, and click Publish.
Variable products
- Under Attributes, add an attribute (for example "Size") with its values ("S | M | L") and tick Used for variations.
- Under Variations, choose Generate variations, then set the price and stock of each.
Use square images of the same size for every product. Your shop pages will look tidy and load faster.
