Many Egyptian companies sell to customers in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and many Gulf businesses work with Egyptian teams. A website aimed at the Gulf market needs a few things done deliberately.
Arabic first, and done well
Write Arabic content for the audience rather than translating word for word. Make sure the whole interface works right to left: menus, forms, numbers and icons. Keep an English version for international partners, on its own URL so search engines index both.
Speed in the region
Visitors in Riyadh or Kuwait City should not wait for pages served from far away. Host close to them, or use a CDN with points of presence in the Gulf for static files. Optimise images and keep pages light; mobile use is very high in both markets.
Domain and brand
A .com works well across the Gulf. Register your brand name on a domain you control, and make sure business email uses the same domain so quotes and invoices look professional.
Payments and invoicing
Gulf customers expect clear prices and familiar payment methods. Show prices in the currency they think in where possible, state taxes clearly, and offer bank transfer for business customers.
Trust signals
- A local phone or WhatsApp number and clear response times.
- Company details, terms and privacy policy in Arabic.
- Case studies or client logos from the region, with permission.
