Attaching Drive Storage to your servers

Mount the NFS volume on one or more IDX servers.

Drive Storage is an NFS volume you can mount on your IDX VPS servers. Use the export path from your delivery ticket.

Ubuntu / Debian

apt install -y nfs-common
mkdir -p /mnt/shared
mount -t nfs EXPORT_ADDRESS:/PATH /mnt/shared
df -h /mnt/shared

Add a line to /etc/fstab:

EXPORT_ADDRESS:/PATH  /mnt/shared  nfs  defaults,_netdev  0  0

Then test it with mount -a.

Mount the same volume on several servers to share files between them, for example uploads for a website running on more than one server.
