Setting up your own nameservers

ns1.yourbrand.com and ns2.yourbrand.com for your clients.

Branded nameservers let your clients point their domains to ns1.yourbrand.com and ns2.yourbrand.com.

  1. Open a ticket to Resellers / Affiliate asking for private nameservers, with the domain you'll use for them. We'll reply with the IP addresses to use.
  2. At your domain's registrar, register the child nameservers (also called glue records or host records) ns1 and ns2 with those IP addresses. If your domain is with IDX, ask us in the same ticket and we'll do it.
  3. Set the nameservers in WHM under Basic WebHost Manager Setup.
  4. Tell your clients to use your nameservers.

Allow up to 24 to 48 hours for new nameservers to work everywhere.
