What is cPanel?
The control panel for your hosting, in plain words.
cPanel is the control panel that comes with IDX shared, web and reseller hosting. Instead of commands, you manage everything with clicks:
- Files and folders, FTP accounts.
- Email accounts, forwarders and spam filters.
- Databases and phpMyAdmin.
- Domains, subdomains and redirects.
- SSL certificates, PHP versions, backups.
- One-click apps such as WordPress (Softaculous).
You open it from the client area in one click. See Logging in to cPanel. Resellers also get WHM, to create cPanel accounts for their own clients.
