    The commercial registry or the tax card, plus a letter from the government agency it is affiliated with, stamped with the eagle seal.

    A trademark for the name to be registered, registered in Egypt or internationally under the Madrid system with WIPO, and a representative or agent inside Egypt.

  • Other entities

    Where an entity meets the conditions to register a second-level .eg domain (such as .org.eg or .edu.eg), the documents for that domain are submitted to register a .eg domain.

What are .eg domains?

.EG is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Egypt. It includes several second-level domains such as .com.eg, .edu.eg, .gov.eg, .net.eg and .org.eg, each for a different type of entity: businesses, educational institutions, government bodies and non-profits.

Who can register a .eg domain?
